Composition:

Wholegrain wheat, dried lucerne, soya bean hulls*, oatfeed, soya bean meal feed dehulled*, dried peas, wheat feed, yeast (brewer's yeast and grains), minerals, soya oil*, dried mint (1%), lignocellulose, short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotic FOS 0.2%).

Analytical Constituents:

Nutritional Additives per kg: Vitamin A 30,000 IU, Vitamin D3 3,500 IU, Vitamin E 140 mg, Vitamin C 895 mg, copper 7.5 mg, zinc 90 mg, manganese 60 mg, iron 60 mg, selenium 0.3 mg and iodine 0.5 mg. The formula also contains natural antioxidant extracts.

Feeding Advice: Chinchillas should have good-quality feeding hay available at all times. Burgess Excel Chinchilla Nuggets should be fed as a small portion alongside hay or fresh grass, with occasional suitable treats and a small amount of appropriate leafy greens for variety and enrichment.

If your chinchilla is currently eating a muesli-style food, gradually transition to a hay and nugget-based diet over 14–28 days. Slowly reduce the amount of muesli while increasing the proportion of nuggets.

Always provide your chinchilla with fresh, clean drinking water and monitor their weight regularly to help maintain a healthy body condition. If you are unsure about your chinchilla's individual nutritional requirements, consult your veterinarian.
