Win a Birthday Party at Family Pet Centre

The competition commences on 22 January 2019 and ends on Friday 22 February 2019 both days inclusive. Participants need to take a photo of themselves (or a family member) with “Harley”, the Burmese Python* in-store and post it on Facebook. They have to mention Family Pet Centre (@FamilyPetCentreZA) and also use the hashtag #FPCHarley to qualify for the draw.

Participants may enter this competition as many times as they wish, provided that each photo post is unique. The winner will be appointed by means of a lucky draw on the 23rd of February 2019 and contacted via a private Facebook Message. Family Pet Centre will not use any photos of children for marketing purposes without parents' written consent. The judges’ decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into. The prize is not redeemable for cash.

The winner will qualify for the following: a birthday party for a child of his/her choice, for a maximum of 10 kids. The party includes (a) a section in the coffee shop that can be used as a party venue, (b) 10 – 15 Family Pet Centre balloons, (c) up to 10 slushy drinks for the guests, (d) up to 10 boxes of popcorn for the guests, (e) assisted “petting” time with the small pets (bunnies, hamsters, etc) and / or the reptiles (snakes, spiders, etc). The winner may choose any Saturday (between 15:00 and 17:00) for the birthday party, until 22 February 2020.

*Posing with the python for the photos are entirely at the participants’ own risk, and participants are not permitted to handle the animals without assistance from Family Pet Centre staff members. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff members are trained to handle the animals in store and every precaution is taken to prevent injury, but be aware that a tame pet snake can still bite, which may hurt but is usually harmless.
