Cipla Diomec Plus Paste for dogs and cats is a nutritional aid that assists in normalising the digestive system in dogs and cats suffering from diarrhoea. If your pet is struggling with diarrhoea for consecutive days, Diomec Paste may be beneficial to assist with uncomfortable symptoms and discomfort. Diomec contains Diosmectite, Prebiotics, L-Glutamine, Dextrose and Electrolytes.

Diosmectite binds bacteria, toxins and water in the gut which aids in solidifying the faeces. Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) is a prebiotic and has been shown, in clinical trials, to reduce faecal E.Coli levels. It also improves gut immunity. L-glutamine is a source of nutrition for rapidly dividing electrolytes and aids in recovery.

If your pet's diarrhoea persists for two days and you do not see any improvement seek veterinary advice, especially when dealing with a puppy or a kitten you should not waste any time. If your pet's diarrhoea doesn't go away within a day or two, they can become dehydrated. Diarrhoea that lasts longer may indicate an underlying health issue, from there you should take your pet to a vet to be checked.

Please note, you should not use this product for more than 10 consecutive days.

When should I be concerned about my dog's diarrhoea?
